where can i get up to date key stage 2 year 5 literacy information?

my son who’s 9 and in year 5 has been hiding the fact that he has been having spellings to learn and spelling tests every week, even when i ask if he has any homework. needless to say he’s been doing really badly.
i am going to go and see his teacher and ask for a list of words they have already covered. in the meantime i have been looking online for any idea of the sort of spellings he should have and doing what i can to help him catch up.
can anyone suggest and good informative website or publications that would help?
